does auto away sense when you come home? Empty does auto away sense when you come home?

or do you have to tell it when you come back (I know this option exists) but I'd like to note when my wife walks through the door at 4pm as I know she won't tell it "she's home" until she notices she is cold.

It's supposed to sense when you return by walking past it. Ours is working that way.
