which wire where?!? Empty which wire where?!?

Hello all NESTers. Why is something that should be very simple so difficult? I've got a very basic gas boiler/ heater connected to a hydronic heating system. The boiler is a 24 volt DC system and I'm reading 18 to 19 volts on standy at both the boiler and the other end of the two wires [red/active and white/neutral] where I'd like to install my 1st generation NEST. I cannot find any information or help from NEST as to which of the eight terminals I should connect the red and white wires.an any of you help me.... please! Thank you, Dave
