I know Nest has built-in humidity sensor, can you also enable it to control humidity?
Currently I have a humidistat, would love if this control was integrated into Nest.

The Nest internal humidity sensor is used in the controlling algorithm but the the current version will not control a humidifier or dehumidifier. Reference from Thermostatforums.com
Re: Humidistat
I'd really like to be able to get rid of my ugly humidistat now....Is there any possibility that the current model could be modified to include humidistat functions? Perhaps using an unused set of furnace connectors as a secondary function?

yeah, using unused ports for humidistat would be nice
but nest has already said no when i talked to them
in one hand they say it cant be done
but in the other thats exactly how they are doing ot on the v2 tstat
its one * connector that is user selectable as to what it does
they could have done the exact same thing on the v1 using the aux port
shame on you nest
gouging an extra 250$ just to get humidistat control when a simple software update would do it
