Still function with power out.

I've got the unit working with my milivolt gas fireplace as primary, and 24v electric furnace as second stage. It would be nice if the thermostat would still close the circuit for at least stage 1 even when the power is out and it is not getting power from the 24v system. This would allow the gas fireplace to still work when the power goes out.
